I know, I went missing for a while but I've been crazy busy... Anyways! I'm back with one of those looks that can be worn in many different occassion and still be special. It is made of graments you've already seen on the blog and some sales pieces as well. The kimono jacket is definitely one of those statement pieces that spice up any look, the print is absolutely cool and its loose fit is so carefree. Morever, it is the perfect jacket for these mild evenings in Dublin. 

We took the pictures in city after our cinema session. Guys, I highly recommend you to go and see Wadjda :)

Lo sé, han pasado bastantes días sin actualizar, como recompensa os traigo uno de esos looks, que aunque podría llevarse en muchas ocasiones, no desapercibido y está compuesto tanto por prendas que ya habéis visto anteriormente en el blog como por otras adquiridas en las rebajas. Indudablemente, la chaqueta tipo kimono es la pieza estrella del look, por su estampado "étnico-cool" y el corte que la hace más desenfadada y versátil; sin duda, la prenda perfecta para las noches de verano en Dublín, que están siendo inmejorables.

Tomamos las fotos después de nuestra sesión de cine, y aunque no suelo hacer comentarios más allá de la moda, os tengo que recomendar Wadjda :)

PRINT'S TIME

 

Pants, top and handbag: Zara (sales'13)/ Rings (new) and Leather jacket: Zara/ Shoes: Stradivarius (ss'12)

I wasn't a big fan of prints before (except for stripes), specially the very risky ones but since they were recently brought back to the catwalks, I can't stop buying printed pieces as these really cool pair of pijama pants! The pattern is really funky and you cannot even imagine how comfortable they are, it definitely feels like wearing a pijama; that's why I also got them with a black and white leopard print (I'll show them to you soon!). The look itself was alreeady very risky, however, it was the perfect moment to add my new rings with yellow "stones" to give that touch of glamour to the look. 

As a note, I'll tell you that I wore this outfit for a very special occasion!

Nunca he sido muy fan de los estampados (excepto las clásicas rayas marineras), y aún menos de los más arriesgados, pero me he vuelto medio loca con ellos desde que se reincorporaron a las pasarelas. Mis últimas adquisiciones: estos pantalones tipo pijama de estampado setentero y su versión en leopardo en negro y blanco (pronto los veréis por aquí). 

Este tipo de pantalones, me parecen una buena opción para dar un descanso a los skinny jeans,y  no sólo por su caída (son muy muy cómodos) sino también por los estampados tan atrevidos. Aunque el look ya tenía bastante personalidad, decidí añadir mis nuevos pendientes con detalles amarillos para dar ese toque de glamour como merecía la ocasión.

WORKING GIRL

Usually, putting basic garments together and adding touch of color in a outfit works. That's exactly what happened with this ensemble. However, it is very easy to create the perfect outfit thanks to these beautiful white trousers made of a very light fabric perfect for summer temperatures and with an exquisite cut that I love. This type of business casual look has become my go-to attire to go to work, not too informal but cool and personal in equal measure.

Normalmente, el conjunto de prendas básicas con la suma de un toque de color funciona en un look, y eso es exactamente lo que ocurre con este look. Aunque, es facilísimo crear un estilismo perfecto gracias a estos pantalones con un corte y caída muy favorecdores y aparte muy fresquitos para temperaturas veraniegas. 

Este tipo de looks son los que elijo para ir al trabajo, sin ser muy informales conservan un toque de elegancia y de estilo a partes iguales.

I HEART JEANS

Shirt: Penneys (old)/ Jeans: Zara (ss'12)/ Wedges: Stradivarius (old)/ Bag: Urban Outfitters/ Belt: Pull&Bear

I don't usually go for total (jeans/white/black) looks, but I made an exception this time and wore a total jeans look. I know we've seen it many times before, and that's why I wasn't expecting this combo to work for me but luckily it did! 

As you might have noticed I wear my suede wedges with any outfit, to go to work, to go out, on weekends... it is because they are super comfy and with the perfect chic touch to make them really versatile.

Hope you're having a great week, mine is being awesome as the weather is being exceptionally good in Dublin now.

Normalmente no me decanto por looks tipo "total white/black/jeans", pero esta vez hice una excepción con un total jeans look. Hemos visto este juego de prendas más de una vez en la blogosfera y esa era una de las razones que me hizo pensar que quizás me parecería aburrido, pero al final me gustó el resultado!

Ya os habréis dado cuenta de que me pongo mis cuñas de ante con todo, y es que no me las quito ya que me valen tanto para ir al trabajo, como para salir o llevarlas durante el fin de semana... No tiene secreto, es que son comodísimas y con el toque chic imprescindible para hacerlas muy versátiles.

Espero que hayáis tenido un feliz comienzo de semana, la mia está yendo de maravilla ya que el tiempo está siendo excepcionalmente bueno en Dublín.

Another stripped t-shirt for my collection...! I love them, I think they are very flattering and can be worn to dress a look up or down. This is one of my last acquisitions in sales (I also got the black version), and a few more things that I'm hoping to show you soon. 

In sales, I make sure I purchase pieces that really go with my personality and style; it's the perfect time to get yourself a few basic tops and jeans, and why not, risk a bit and get something really cool!

Otra camiseta de rayas para mi colección...! Simplemente me encantan, me parecen muy favorecedoras y perfectas para combinar tanto en looks de día o incluso en looks más formales o para salir de cena; tienen muchas combinaciones. Ésta en concreto es una de mis últimas adquisiciones en las rebajas (también me llevé la versión en negro), y algunas otras cositas que espero enseñaros pronto.

En época de rebajas, me aseguro de llevarme prendas que vayan con mi estilo y personalidad; es sin duda el momento perfecto para hacerte con algunos básicos y por qué no, alguna prenda más arriesgada y cool!
