MADEMOISELLE CHOCOLAT

Hi all! You know I don't usually wear skirts, but if I do I make sure it has that special touch, like this one I am wearing bought in the masive outlet store in New York, Century 21. Leopard print is a must-have this season, but only a touch of it.

This outfit is very easy to pull together, and as most of the outfits I show you on the blog it can take you from day to night. The little details are the ones making looks special, in this case the lovely handbag designed by Mademoiselle Chocolat with a rounded style, bright fabric and silver chain that brights up the look. Mademoiselle Chocolat is an unique brand that designs bags, t-shirts, sweatshirts and different accesories that are 100% handmade.

This brand has a special meaning for me as its creator has been a friend of mine for many years and when she asked me to pick one of the bags I couldn't say no :) You can have a look at all of the designs or make an order on her on-line shop or through their Facebook page.

Hola chic@s! Ya sabéis que no suelo llevar faldas, pero eso sí, las que llevo las elijo con esmero, me gusta que tengan ese "algo" especial, como esta que compré en el outlet gigante, Century 21, en Nueva York. El estampado es espectacular, el de leopardo me parece un must-have esta temporada, eso sí, en pequeñas dosis. El outfit en fácil de componer y como la mayoría de los que os enseño en el blog muy ponible tanto para el día como para salir a tomar algo con unos amigos; claro que los pequeños detalles lo hacen especial, en este caso el bolsito diseñado por Mademoiselle Chocolat, redondo, con tejido brillante y cadena plateada que me parece de lo más original y chic. Mademoiselle Chocolat es una marca única que presenta bolsos, camisetas, sudaderas y accesorios todos hechos y pintados a mano ¡aunque no lo parezca!. Esta marca tiene un especial significado para mi, ya que la creadora es una amiga de toda la vida con la que siempre he tenido mucho en común, así que cuando me pidió que eligiera uno de los bolsitos no lo dudé un momento.

NEW YEAR, NEW THINGS

Hello everyone! Happy new year guys, hope you had an amazing time this holidays and that 2014 brings loads of happiness and success to all of you. Any resolutions?
I wanted to start the year with a very special outfit made of of new and special pieces, such a great way to kick off my fashion view of 2014!
Most of you already know that I love blazers, it's a fact, and this one from Sammydress has everything I need in this type of jackets, the loose fit, the timeless color and the light fabric. However, I didn't want to combine it in the typical, instead I decided to give it a twist by playing with diffrent styles. I styled it over a simple and monchromatic ensemble and played with the lengths, layers and colors to give all the attention to the blazer and the accessories like the hat and handbag. I feel totally identified with the result which is quite bohemian and super comfortable at the same time. Hope you like it guys!

Hola a tod@s! Feliz año, espero hayáis tenido unas vacaciones geniales y que el 2014 os traiga mucha felicidad y éxito :) 
Quería empezar el año con un look compuesto de piezas nuevas y muy especiales, lo que me parece una manera estupenda de afrontar un nuevo año para el blog.
Como muchos ya sabéis, me encantan los blazers, así que era de esperar que incluyera una en mi primer post del año, en concreto una de Sammydress que tiene todo lo que busco en este tipo de piezas ya que tiene un corteo "oversize", un color que nunca pasa de moda y aparte es súper ligerita. Sin embargo, no quería incluirla en el típico look formal así que le di un giro al outfit combinando el blazer con prendas de estilos muy diferentes como leggings y jersey oversize en negro para jugar con los colores, largos y dar importancia al blazer y al resto de accesorios como el sombrero o el bolso. El resultado la verdad es que me encanta y  me chifla que tenga ese rollo boho con el que me siento bastante identificada.
