ALL WHITE EVERYTHING

There is no doubt that summer 2015 means "white" for me as I tend to choose white for most of my outfits - I love this color, it brings light and summer vibes to any outfit, don't you think? To give it a bit of a twist I added this embroided and colourful handbag from Penneys that I adore, it gives the perfect touch of colour to the ensemble.

Sin duda para mi este verano es sinónimo de "blanco" ya que me he dado cuenta de que he incluído alguna pieza en este color en mis últimos outfits. Es un color que me encanta, que sigo usando en invierno y del que abuso en verano, pero es que aporta un toque de luz y frescura a cualquier conjunto, ¿qué os parece? Simplemente añadí un pequeño toque de color gracias a este  precioso bolso de colores de  Primark de esta temporada.

BEST OF THE 109 BLOCK 2013

Big THANK YOU to everyone that has supported The 109 Block another year. It's  been a fantastic year full of events, lots of fun and great people. Thanks to everyone who make this blog possible, starting with the person who is behind the camera and always finds some time to take amazing snapshots for the blog and help me no matter what; love you. Thanks to all my family and friends that praise my work and encourage me to do what I love.

And the biggest THANKS to all my readers all over the world, you are the best and inspire me to keep working on this with the little time that I have, but it's totally worth it!

Happy 2014 guys, I'm sure it's gonna be a great year and even more amazing that that the one that is ending.

Muchísimas gracias a todos los que han apoyado a The 109 Block un año más. Ha sido un año incréible lleno de eventos, oportunidades y gente maravillosa. Gracias a todos aquellos que hacen que el blog sea posible, empezando por la persona que está detrás de la cámara y siempre encuentra un hueco en su día para tomar las fantásticas fotografías que aparecen en el blog; te quiero. 

Gracias a la familia y amigos que elogian mu trabajo y me animan a seguir haciendo algo que me gusta.

THE FORMULA

The Formula, that's how call this type of look, the one that really works for me and probably for most of us = Jeans + Blazer + Heels + Statement handbag.

Even though it's a really simple outfit to put together, it is really flattering and chic. The outfit is made of pieces I bought in New York (pictures were taken there as well), and I have to say I am very happy with all of my purchases there, but specially the fabulous Steve Madden shoes and this white blazer that it's for me, the perfect one.

La fórmula, así es como llamo yo a este tipo de looks que me funciona perfectamente en cualquier ocación, y seguro que a muchas de vosotras también = Jeans + Blazer + Tacón + Bolso.

Aunque sea un look bastante fácil de conjuntar, siempre funciona por ser favorecedor y con un toque chic. Como no, el outfit se compone de prendas que compré en Nueva York (las fotos también son en NYC), pero sin duda el blazer blanco y las sandalias Steve Madden son, para mi, las prendas estrella del viaje.

.Indian Summer.

... That's how they call the end of summer here in Ireland, just a few days with high temperatures, and then it's gone. This pictures were taken last weekend, on a very sunny and lovely day; it's been quite cold this week.

My outfit is quite comfy, but garments as the flowered skirt and the awesome satchel bag make give it a trendy and urban touch. The skirt was only 5.99€ on sales and I'm so in love with it, I'm sure I'll be able to use it in Autumn with warmer clothes. Let me know what you think about the look. Thanks again for being there, you're great!

... Así es como llaman los irlandeses al final del verano aquí, unos cuantos días de calor y luego el verano se esfuma. Estas fotos se tomaron el fin de semana pasado, cuando el verano todavía se dejaba ver en Dublín; sin embargo, esta semana ha sido algo fresquita.

Este outfit es bastante cómodo, pero algunas de las prendas, como la falda de flores y el satchel, le dan ese toque chic y urbano. La falda me costó tan solo 5.99€ en las rebajas y estoy segura que en otoño también la podré usar con ropa más abrigadita. ¿Qué os parece? Gracias a todos por estar ahí!
