NYFW FALL '14 PICKS

I have to admit that it hasn't been easy to pick my favourite outfits from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York as it has really amazed me this time. Sally Lapointe has been with no doubt one of my favourites. I think she presented a very powerful  and elegant collection defined by the monochromatic trend and that plays with different textures, specially leather and fur. Michael Kors really impresed me too, he presented an amazing fall collection, very feminine and with a beautiful bohemian touch. Hope you you enjoy this little recap that it has already inspired me to choose my outfit for this week! Stay tuned as there will be a new outfit post tomorrow!

Tengo que reconocer que no ha sido fácil hacer una recopilación de mis conjuntos favoritos en esta recién terminada Mercedes Benz Fashion Week en Nueva York ya que en general me ha dejado impresionada. Sally Lapointe ha sido una de mis favoritos en esta ocasión, creo que es una colección con mucha fuerza y elegncia definida por la tendencia monocromática en la que ha jugado con distintas texturas, sobre todo piel. Michael Kors también presentó una colección increíble, muy femenina y con cierto toque bohemio que me impresionó. Espero que os guste este pequeño resumen de mis favoritos, a mi  por lo menos ya me está dando ideas para vestir en lo que queda de invierno! Mañana nuevo outfit, estad atentos! x

BLUE BLAZER x NEW YORK

I couldn't find the perfect moment to post this outfit from my amazing trip to New York, but I think it's great to finish this year with a look that definitely brings great memories and has been one of the highlights of the year for me. The snapshoots were taken in September, a month that seems to be a transition from extreme summer temperatures to autumn and that's why I was wearing different layers including this fab blue blazer that you've already seen before.

Hope you guys are having an amazing festive season with your loved ones; I have spent a few days at home but I'm going back to Dublin tomorrow morning.

No había encontrado el momento adecuado para publicar este look de nuestro increíble viaje a Nueva York, pero creo que la manera perfecta de terminar el año es recordando los mejores momentos del 2013 y para mi el viaje a NY fue uno de ellos. Como las fotos se tomaron en septiembre, me que parece ser la transición entre el verano más extremo y los primeros síntomas del otoño, llevaba varias capas incluyendo esta blazer azul que he llevado en más de una ocasión en los últimos meses.

Espero que estéis pasando unas navidades increíbles en familia; yo ya vuelvo a Dublín mañana y poco a poco volver a la realidad.

WEST VILLAGE LIFE

I still have loads of pictures to show you from New York, specially outfit snaps! These ones were taken in one of my favourite parts of Manhattan, West Village, very close to Carrie Broadshaw's apartment! So as you can imagine, a very cool residential spot not far from Friends' house either. I really liked the result of wearing diffrent layers by combining a black leather mini skirt that I DIYed (as it had a flounce), grey t-shirt and white and blue stripped shirt, all from past seasons, except for the sneakers. The denim bag was a free gift from NY Fashion Week, a really comfy handbag when visiting a new city.

Todavía me quedan bastantes fotos que enseñaros de Nueva York, especialmente looks! Este en concreto es de de nuestro cuarto día en la Gran Manzana; las fotos las echamos en una zona que me encanta de Nueva York, el West Village, en concreto a pocos metros del apartamento de Carrie Broadshaw. Como ya véis una zona residencial bastante bonita y a pocos pasos de la famosa casa de Friends! Para look elegí llevara distintas capas y largos con la mini efecto piel negra (a la que le quité un volante que llevaba, viva el DIY), camiseta gris y camisa a rayas azules y blancas. Todo es de temporadas pasadas, excepto las zapatillas. El bolso vaquero fue uno de esos regalitos que te dan a las puertas de los shows de la NY Fashion Week, perfecto para visitar la ciudad.

Estad atentos, ya que dentro de poco publicaré un nuevo look de NY! Feliz día!

NYFW STREET STYLE '13 (NEW YORK) #1

Hi all! I'm back from New York now, that means, back to reality but with a lot of stuff to tell you and pictures to post. It's gonna take me some time. First thing first, I was lucky to capture some of the best Street Style at the Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein shows, which was amazing, fashionable and really really inspirational. Hope you guys enjoy the snapshots featuring some fashionistas as Miroslava Duma or Anna Dello Russo. I have to say that I really enjoyed the experience, the atmosphere was really cool and stylish even though the weather was way too hot!

Hola a todos! Ya estoy de vuelta de Nueva York, y eso significa vuelta a la realidad pero con muchas cosas que contaros; bueno, sobre todo fotos que publicar! 

Tuve la suerte de poder pasarme a capturar algunas instántaneas momentos antes y después de los desfiles de Ralph Lauren y Calvin Klein y fotografiar a iconos de la moda como Mirloslava Duma o la fashionista como Anna Dello Russo al más puro Street Style. La experiencia fue increíble, y había muy buen ambiente, lleno de cámaras que querían capturar los mejores outfits de los invitad@s sin importar el calor sofocante que hacía.

Hi there! quick update before my trip to New York! This is one of those looks that definitely make me feel good and that totally go with my style; I know it's a bit too "autumn-like" but it is autumn  here in Ireland already, in fact, it was raining while we were taking these photos. The fedora? a staple piece this fall-winter season, fetching, stylish and perfect for low temperatures!

Hola! una actualización de las rápidas antes de mi viaje a Nueva York! Este es uno de esos looks que me hacen sentir bien y que van totalmente con mi estilo. Ya sé que es demasiado otoñal, pero en Irlanda el otoño ha llegado para quedarse... 

El sombrero de fieltro... ¡no tengo palabras para expresar cuánto me gusta! es perfecto y muy favorecedor, sin duda, el accesorio clave esta temporada otoño-invierno.
